Marc Forsters „World War Z“ erscheint in härterter Unrated Edition auf Blu-ray Disc

Wie Entertainment Weekly mitgeteilt hat, wird es nun offiziell einen härteren Unrated Cut für Marc Forsters Zombiefilm „World War Z“(Großbritannien, Malta, Ungarn, USA 2013) geben. In den USA ist dieser ab dem 17. September auf Blu-ray Disc erhältlich. Die Laufzeit wurde indes noch nicht genannt. Die Kinofassung hat eine Laufzeit von 116 Minuten und wurde hierzulande ab 16 Jahren freigegeben, während dieselbe Fassung in den USA ein PG13-Rating bekommen hat. Ob sowohl die 2D- als auch die 3D-Fassung den Unrated Cut spendiert bekommen, ist zurzeit nicht bekannt. Dafür sind bereits die auf der Blu-ray untergebrachten Boni bekannt, die wir Ihnen am Ende dieser News aufgelistet haben.

Hierzulande kann aller Voraussicht nach mit einer Veröffentlichung im November gerechnet werden. Der Film läuft seit dem 27. Juni im Verleih von Paramount in den Kinos. Paramount Home Entertainment wird auch die HD-Fassung in Deutschland anbieten und den Titel wahrscheinlich mit einer deutschen Tonspur in DD 5.1 ausstatten.
